No Data Collection

Garments does not collect any personal data. We do not operate servers that receive your information, and we have no access to anything you do within the app. There is no account system, no sign-in, and no profile.

Local Storage Only

All photos and images you add to the app are stored exclusively on your device. Your images never leave the app — they are not uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third party. If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.

Camera & Photo Library

Garments requests access to:

• Camera — to take photos of your clothing items and for the AR try-on feature powered by ARKit.
• Photo Library — to import existing photos of your clothing items.

These permissions are used solely within the app. No photos are transmitted externally.

Augmented Reality & Environment Scanning

The app uses Apple's ARKit framework to enable the try-on feature. ARKit scans your physical surroundings (planes, surfaces, environment mesh) to place virtual clothing in your space. All of this processing happens entirely on your device — no camera frames, depth data, environment scans, or AR session data are ever stored beyond the session or transmitted to any server.

User Settings

The app stores basic preferences (such as your display name and category order) locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults system. This data never leaves your device.

In-App Browser

Garments includes an integrated browser that allows you to visit external websites (e.g. for wishlisted items and affiliate links). When you use this browser, you are subject to the privacy policies of the websites you visit. Garments has no control over and no visibility into your activity on those external sites.

No Advertising, No Tracking, No Analytics

Garments contains:

• No advertising of any kind
• No tracking or behavioural profiling
• No analytics SDKs (e.g. no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude)
• No crash reporting services that transmit data externally

Children's Privacy

Garments does not knowingly collect any information from children. Because the app collects no data from anyone, it is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Because we collect no data, changes are unlikely to affect you in any meaningful way.
